Raj qualified from University College Hospital in London. He is the co-owner of the practice with his life-long friend Robin Nagi. He has developed his interests in dentistry in both clinical and non-clinical areas and has been involved in postgraduate education and training for over 20 years.

Throughout this time, Raj has maintained his clinical commitment at Iffley Dental Care. Outside dentistry, his main interests are writing, sport and magic. He has been a member of the Magic Circle for over 25 years.
